Purpose
MAETRIX Communications, LLC (“MAETRIX”) is committed to delivering high-quality and reliable internet services to its customers. To preserve the integrity and performance of our network, and to ensure a fair and quality experience for all users, we have adopted this Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”). This Policy outlines acceptable and unacceptable behaviors in relation to the use of our Internet services (“Service”) and defines the rights and responsibilities of customers and users.
1. Customer Responsibility
All individuals and entities accessing or using MAETRIX’s network and services (“you,” “your,” or “Customer”) are required to comply with this Policy. By utilizing the Service, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not consent, you must immediately cease all use and notify MAETRIX to terminate your account.
Any breach of this Policy may result in the suspension, restriction, or permanent termination of your Service, at MAETRIX’s sole discretion. Violations include, but are not limited to, interference with network operations, use of the Service in contravention of applicable laws, or failure to adhere to any contractual agreements with MAETRIX or its upstream service providers.
2. Prohibited Uses
You shall not use the Service, or any device connected to the Service, to:
– Transmit or store content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; or which violates export control or intellectual property laws.
– Engage in the dissemination of spam, junk email, unsolicited advertisements, or mass messaging of any kind.
– Falsify or forge message headers or sender information for deceptive purposes.
– Attempt unauthorized access to, or interference with, systems, networks, or data.
– Use the Service to defraud or avoid lawful payment obligations.
– Access, manipulate, or destroy data or communications not belonging to you without explicit authorization.
– Initiate denial-of-service attacks or similar activities that disrupt normal network operations.
– Diminish, degrade, or otherwise interfere with the lawful use and enjoyment of the MAETRIX network by others.
– Operate any open or unsecured wireless network, or resell or redistribute the Service outside of your domicile, premises or service address without prior written authorization from MAETRIX.
3. Enforcement and Monitoring
MAETRIX reserves the right to monitor, investigate, and record Service usage to ensure compliance with this Policy and applicable laws. While MAETRIX does not actively monitor content, we may do so in response to reports, to maintain network integrity, or as required by law. All reports of abuse should be directed to: abuse@maetrix.network
4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MAETRIX, its officers, affiliates, contractors, and agents from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees and court costs) arising from:
– Your use or misuse of the Service;
– Your breach of this Policy or any related agreement;
– Content or activity conducted over the MAETRIX network under your account or control.
This indemnity obligation shall survive termination or expiration of your Service agreement.
5. Policy Changes
MAETRIX reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website and are effective upon posting. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
